Every day I observe the sea, the sky, the earth. I breathe in these stolen elements and I remember that these are the ancestral lands of the Ningy Ningy people. I am honoured to live on this land, the land of the cliffs of running blood, oysters and the Kurbingaibah but I acknowledge the trauma caused by my ancestors and continued by my peers. As titles have been lost to the sands of colonisation and corruption, I would also like to acknowledge the Yugara, Turrbal and Gubbi Gubbi people. I pay my respects to Elders, past, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, dreams, traditions and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Finally, I acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, and this was, and always will be Aboriginal land.

Hi and welcome to Sex Talk with Jordan

I’m Jordan! And in an age where podcast is king, I’m throwing it back to Y2K and starting a blog. I am a passionate, hungry, attention deficit, queer, sexy, intersectional feminist, Virgo witch!

When I was 8, my very vanilla mother started a kink label (a long story for another day) and for the past 12 years I’ve worked in the family business and with some of the biggest brands in the adult industry. I grew up with a unique take on sex and sexuality and I’ve got some shit to say, and now you’re gonna hear about it!

I have always been passionate about education, you know; knowledge is power and all that, and it makes me mad that there is a “taboo” label on anything to do with the human body, sexuality and pleasure. As my therapist says “We’re here to fuck, make babies and have fun. It’s “the man” who created these social constructs we feel pressured to live by.” So I decided to create this is space to share what I know and what I’m continuing to learn about sex, sexuality, pleasure, love, relationships, life, mental health and anything else I damn well feel like writing about. Heck I’ll probably throw in some sad gal poetry from time to time.

I strive to be an ally to LGBTQIAP+ community and POC and I am continually learning the incredible intricacies of this beautiful, non- binary world. I endeavour to be as inclusive as possible with the information I share but I acknowledge that it is from the perspective of a white, cis, able-bodied woman, so if you ever have feedback or would like to talk further or straight up call me out, please feel free to contact me. I’m here for the dialogue.

Even though I’ve been a medical professional in nearly all of my past lives, I am not in this one. So…
